New Election Equipment Showcased at Library

Eight Louisville Libraries to Feature
New County Election Equipment

 

LOUISVILLE, KY – The Jefferson County Clerk’s Election Center staff will be showcasing the recently purchased voting equipment that will be used in the 2018 General Election.  Residents will have an opportunity to try out the new DS200 and ExpressVote voting equipment with a mock election ballot.  The Election Center will be demonstrating the new equipment at the following Louisville Free Public Libraries:

The Election Center will also be registering people to vote and actively recruiting both Republican and Democratic Election Officers for the upcoming General Election to be held on November 6th.  Officers must be willing to fill vacancies throughout the county and serve where needed. The General Election requires approximately 2,400 registered Democratic and Republican voters of Jefferson County to work the polls at 623 precincts. Election Officers receive $40 for attending an Election Officer training session and $160 for working the polls on Election Day.
