Voter Registration and Information
  • To be eligible to register to vote, you must:
    • be a citizen of the United States
    • be 18 or older on or before the General Election
    • not be a convicted felon. If you have been convicted of a felony, your civil rights must have been restored.
    • not have been judged “mentally incompetent” in a court of law.
New registrations, address changes, or name changes must be made no later than April 19, 2010 for the Primary Election. You may change your political party affiliation at any time on or before December 31st to remain eligible to vote in the following Primary Election. (KRS 116.055).  Otherwise, you would only be eligible to vote in non-partisan races for that particular Election.
  • IT’S EASY TO REGISTER

    • Print, complete, and drop off the registration card at the Election Center or any Jefferson County Clerk branch or office
    • Drop off the registration card at any Circuit Court Clerk’s driver’s license branch Or mail to:
